Indi Amrit began long before it became a brand — with a mother's personal experience and a daughter's understanding of it.

It began with my mother - Ruby Ahluwalia's journey through advanced cancer — one that transformed not just how our family understood illness, but how we understood healing, nourishment, and what it truly means to live well.

Through treatment and recovery, she discovered how profoundly integrative care, clean nutrition, and botanical wisdom could work alongside conventional medicine.

That experience gave birth to Sanjeevani – Life Beyond Cancer, an organisation dedicated to supporting underprivileged cancer patients across Bharat through compassionate, integrative models of care. Throughout this journey with cancer, the treatment and the "bounce-back", she continued serving as a senior bureaucrat - making it amply clear that if given the resources and space to heal, everyone can continue being a contributive member of society.

For me, growing up in this world meant learning early that healing extended far beyond hospitals and prescriptions. Conversations around immunity, nourishment, emotional wellbeing, and preventative care weren't occasional — they were everyday.

Over time, both of us found ourselves asking a deeper question:

How is it that most of what we consume is MADE, not GROWN?

Why had truly clean, plant-based nourishment become inaccessible, over-processed, or severed from the wisdom Indian households once simply lived by?

In search of a slower, more intentional way of life, our family moved to Goa and the two of us began studying Ayurvedic ingredients, botanicals, and traditional Indian plant wisdom with serious intent — speaking with practitioners and experts, understanding traditional usage, and lab-testing botanical forms to find the most bioavailable and nourishing ways to bring them into modern daily life.

What began as curiosity became rigorous exploration.

One ingredient kept returning to the centre of their research: the Blue Pea Flower — long revered in traditional wellness systems, rich in antioxidants, and quietly extraordinary in its restorative properties.

The first formulations were made not for market, but for people who needed them most: blended specifically for underprivileged cancer patients supported through Sanjeevani's nutrition initiatives. Over time, consistent consumption of the blends — alongside nutritional support and medical care — showed encouraging signs across energy levels, immunity markers, and haemoglobin in several patients. These early observations became the foundation Indi Amrit was built on.

Months of refining recipes, sourcing with care, and staying rooted in nature-first principles followed — until the blends were ready to share more widely.

Today, every Indi Amrit infusion is created from organically grown botanicals from Goa, handled through the simplest processes possible: hand-picking, shade-drying, gentle powdering, patience, and care.

No additives. No fillers. No shortcuts.

Just nourishment — the way nature intended.

From Bharat, the land of holistic healing.

Our Philosophy

Indi Amrit was born from a deep belief that healing is most powerful when it is gentle, honest, and rooted in nature.India has always understood the intelligence of plants — not as trends or superfoods, but as everyday nourishment for a balanced life. Indi Amrit draws from this ancient relationship with botanicals, creating clean herbal infusions and plant blends that support wellbeing over time. All our botanicals are grown on organic farms in Goa, Bharat, and handled with the simplest processes — shade-drying, gentle powdering, and patience. We add nothing artificial, take no shortcuts, and honour the natural integrity of every plant. Our batches are intentionally small and seasonal, designed not for quick fixes but for long-term health.

Because we believe self-care is preventive, nourishment should be accessible, and healing should feel quiet, steady, and personal.
